Almost Home Dog Rescue of NJ (AHDR), is a 501 (c) 3 organization with volunteers having over 15 years experience in the animal rescue field. AHDR does not have a shelter facility, we rely on volunteers to take our dogs into their homes and care for them until they are adopted.

We get our dogs from many different situations: local pounds, shelters, owner surrenders and more. AHDR’S goal is to help mend these broken hearts and bodies and place these, once unfortunate dogs and puppies into their new loving forever homes.
You can help us! The more volunteers and foster homes we have, the more dogs we can save. If you would like to join forces with us to help us grow and accomplish our mission of having no more homeless dogs, then please contact us.
